The story is simple and cute, but I would've loved more banter or flirting. Not because the book was bad, but it would've just made me understand their relationship more.

Ian was Afro-Latinx (half DR and half AA) but I would've loved more research or cultural nuances for him being Dominican. It just would've added to the story.

The love scenes were good. I think those made me give it a 4 instead of a 3. Overall cute, but this is something I would've loved seeing as a full length as opposed to a novella.

I enjoyed the novella by AC Arthur because i do love those Donovans and i love Chritmas mircles!! Even though there were no mentioning about the other Donovans from her previous books...maybe we'll here more about Keysa and Ian in future books contecting them all!! Buy it and you will not be disappointed!
It was a very short story, Keysa and Ian's story did not hold the same level of interest as the other stories in the series.
I truly enjoy looking through the window of words into the Donovan family and friends. A.C. Arthur has weaved us, the readers, into this Donovan world so superbly that I have to actually remind myself it's only characters. Thanks for carrying me into this beautiful Black family!
This book remind me of a dream for a possibility of love at first sight. The unending sacrifices one can go through to accomplish a goal. The book was not long enough.
Keysa doesn't celebrate Christmas due to her parents separating during this season. Workaholic. Santa character in background. Ian knows she is the one for him.
The beginning was too thin. There was nothing that related back to the previous stories. There wasn't enough to justify why Ian & Keysa were even contemplating a relationship. Dad was a Donovan, but how was he connected? I know it's a quickie, but, eh...
This quick novella was a sweet interlude in this Donovan's series. What was especially interesting is that in most cases thus far the elder Donovan's are portrayed as having very long lasting marriages and the basis for this book was a divorce. As a novella this book has a quick resolution and Keysa coming to her realization that she needed to move forward did happen seemingly abruptly. But for this story it didn't feel rushed. I hope Keysa and Ian appear again in the series.
